About
This landmark 5-star resort development sit on a fifteen-acre site with 460 rooms, covering 24000 square meters of floor space. We were contracted to conduct the structural engineering and architectural designs for all roofing, timber structures, reinforced concrete bridges and steel fabrication for the grand stair.
The timber structures and roofing elements were fabricated out of solid Greenheart and KDAT Pine timbers. For the oversized and extremely long sections Glulam were used for structural integrity and various buildings carried engineered pre-manufactured truss roofing systems. All connection bracketing were custom fabricated and were hot dipped galvanize to withstand corrosion from the sea front environment. The pilings were MCA treated and fastened with hidden connection base plates and the roof coverings were Enviroshake shingles and Endureed synthetic thatch complete with copper flashings.
Our experienced supply chain management team played a crucial role ensuring materials and equipment arrived on site at scheduled intervals and in perfect condition despite very challenging haul routes.
