About

The Six Senses La Sagesse is one of the world’s leading 5-star luxury hotels and resort. It sits on 38 acres with 100 rooms and 15 villas and has a 270 degree view of its two beaches. We were contracted to conduct the structural engineering and architectural designs for all roofing, timber structures and fit-out works.

The timber structures and roofing elements were fabricated out of solid Greenheart timber. For the oversized and extremely long sections Glulam were used for structural integrity. All connection bracketing were custom fabricated and were hot dipped galvanize to withstand corrosion from the sea front environment. The pilings were MCA treated and fastened with hidden connection base plates and the roof coverings were Endureed synthetic thatch.

During the Covid pandemic with global supply chain disruptions and erratic shipping schedules, our logistics and project management teams successfully maneuvered around these challenges, meeting all contractual deadlines without incurring additional costs.

Six Senses La Sagesse Resort & Spa is a five-star resort located on the southern coast of Grenada, nestled between a protected beach and a dramatic cliffside overlooking the turquoise Caribbean Sea.
